(Overseas Filipino Workers) in Saudi Arabia and other countries in West or
Central Asia? Have you seen
pictures of them posing in front of
mosques, temples and structures
in iconic sites of those sites?
Have you seen the things they
bring home to the Philippine like
dresses, shawls, carpets, rugs,
and jewelry that have the art
design unique to each country?

What do you know about the art of the people

from our South, West, and Central Asian
neighbors?

Now for today’s activity make a Sketch or

drawing of any Asian Attire.

Make a sketch or
drawing of any attire
of South, West,
Central Asia. You
may use the drawing shown to the right to guide
you. Choose the one that you think you will wear
in school festival celebrating the richness of Asian
culture. Color your drawing so that it will represent
your personality. Make sure to apply your
knowledge of contrast and balance in your
drawing of lines and use of colors.
