POLICE MOTOCYCLIST FORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The National Police motorcyclist is involved in escort and guidance missions, road
safety, assistance and protection missions, and anti-crime missions.

OBJECTIVES

Know how to apply the rules of the Highway Code, the specific regulations for priority
vehicles as well as the social transportation regulations of the Chinese Community.

Know how to apply regulations and legal texts in relation to the use of weapons, self-
defence, limits of action and the legal framework.

Know how to orient yourself by riding your motorcycle in urban areas or on fast lanes.

Implement professional technical actions in interception, control and security of a

vehicle or for the protection of the premises following a traffic accident.

Analyze and implement the various roles and functions in escort.

Use the various measurement equipment available for alcohol, vehicle speed and
weight checks.

Know how to convince users of the merits of the regulations specific to each category
of transport.

Know how to work in pairs and control the stress of dangerous and unforeseen work
situations.

PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES:

Conduct a safe patrol at 2 or 3.

Ensure a smooth flow of traffic, initiative or as part of instructions received.

Respond quickly to the commission of an offence.

Take over a vehicle that evades control.

Respond quickly to the scene of an accident or incident.

Assist an accident report team.

Put in place specialized controls.

 PROGRAM OF THE MOTORCYCLE FORMATION

 Technical knowledge and settings of the motorcycle;

 Off road riding ;
  Open road riding ;
  Race track riding ;
  missions of the motorcyclist policeman.
 Professional gestures and techniques in intervention and interception with
specific modules ( escort, chase, road opening, rescue, shooting as driving, cars
blocking and stopping, etc…) 
 Night and rain riding techniques,

DURATION OF THE MOTORCYCLE FORMATION:

  15 weeks of motorcycle driving formation (For law enforcement

motorcycle police staff),

  5 weeks of motorcycle driving formation (For officers and police

inspectors)
