Q3. What percentage of the total number of marbles in YOUR (Suppose that you
belong to any of these four groups and mention which one) sample was each of the
colours? Make a bar chart of the percentages of each colour in your sample. Be
sure to label your graph properly in Microsoft Excel.

Answer: I am assuming that I am belonging group number 02

Q5. If there are 4528 marbles in the large container in the front of the room, a) how
many marbles would you predict would be blue based on your sample, and b) how
many marbles would you predict would be blue based on the average of four
groups?
A) So, based on my sample the total number of blue marbles would be 14.46%
14.46
of 4528 = 100 × 4528 = 655

So, based on my calculations hakaluki haor contains approximately 655 blue fish.

16.15
B) Blue based marbles based on my predict 16.15% of 4528= 100 × 4528=
731
Blue based on average four groups 731 marbles I would predict.

Q6. If your sample contained 1000 litres of water from Hakaluki Haor and the
volume of Hakaloki Haor is 125,000,000 cubic meters, and each of the marbles
represents fish of that colour, how many blue fishes would you expect to find in
the whole Haor based on your sampling? Be sure to include your calculations in
your answer.

Answer: We know that 1000L= 1m3

Total volume of Hakaluki Haor is 125,000,000 (m3) cubic meter [Given]
My sample contains 35 blue fish
Then based on my sample the Hakaluki Haor will contain 35 X 125,000,000 =
4,37,5000000 blue fishes

My sample contains 85 blue fish

Then based on your sample the Hakaluki Haor will contain 85 X 125,000,000 =
blue fishes= 1.0625-10

My sample contains 73 blue fish

Then based on your sample the Hakaluki Haor will contain 73 X 125,000,000 =
9,125,000000 blue fishes

My sample contains 45 blue fish

Then based on your sample the Hakaluki Haor will contain 45 X 125,000,000 =
5,62,5000000 blue fishes
