Yamaha SY77

Here is how you have to set your SY77:

1°/ Press button "UTILITY" and choose menus "MIDI" (F2 button)/"Channel set" (confirm with
"ENTER" button)
2°/ Using the arrow buttons and the data slider, control and confirm the following settings as
followed:
Voice Receive Ch = omni  --  Note on/off = all  --  Device Number = all  --  Bulk protect = off

And now, let's go for a soundbank transfer to your SY77 :

1°/ Run your sysex transfers program on your computer and load or open (depending on the
program you are using) the sysex file you want to transfer
2°/ Choose "Sysex send" (or the appropriate option) on your sysex transfers program

KEEP IN MIND THAT SENDING A SYSEX SOUNDBANK TO YOUR SYNTH WILL ERASE ALL
DATAS STORED IN YOUR M1 INTERNAL MEMORY

If it doesn't work, try the following points:

1°/ Verify on the sysex transfers program you are using that the MIDI ports have been
correctly assigned (you must normally see your MIDI adaptor name's or soundcard name's
clearly mentioned on both "MIDI IN" and "MIDI OUT" ports window or menu)
2°/ Exchange both MIDI cables on your synth MIDI port (IN«-»OUT/OUT«-»IN)
NOTE: Some sysex transfers program also need that you reduce the MIDI sysex buffer size or
transfer speed (depending on the program you are using)
