Article Review Guidelines/Criteria

The group is expected to review the article based on the following issues.
1. What is the topic/title of the given article?
2. What is the background of the study setting/rationale/motive/justification of the study
3. What problem stated by the author/s and what is the research gap the author/s is/are
expected to fulfill through the study?
4. What are the main/general and specific objectives of the study?
5. What is the significance of the study?
6. What is the scope and limitation of the study?
7. Does the literature review relevant to the study?(Discussion on views reflected in the
literature)
8. What is the relevance of the variables to the study topic by relating it with the literatures
reviewed?
9. How variables are related to the Hypothesis formulation?
10. How methodology that is used in the study?
11. Do the results and discussion within the context of the stated objectives?
12. How well are conclusions of the article aligned with the results and discussion of the
study?
13. How well are recommendations associated with the conclusions and findings of the
study?
14. Does referencing style follow a standard format?
After critically reviewing the above contents of the article, comment each of the issue and finally
give the overall strengths and weaknesses of the article.

Note: - The review report not exceeds 3 pages.
