about making a mockery of every ludicrous quora policy. Say, " be nice, be respectful"
policy. Why do you have to be nice to people, why do you have to respect people. Did

For people who just wanna get off:
 Search Quora Add Question
In the top right corner of your screen you should have a red box that says ‘Add Question’,
just to the left of that is your profile icon/ a pic of a face. Click on this. You should see a
menu with your name (or name you used to sign up) at the top...scroll down to Settings.
Click on Settings. This should take you to the Accounts Settings page. You should see:
Account, Privacy, Email & Notifications, Languages. Click on Email & Notifications and
uncheck all boxes. Then click on Privacy, scroll down to bottom of that page. It says: Delete

It’s simple: Just like any other digest-type email, scroll to the bottom of the email and click
on the “Unsubscribe” link.

On the screen that opens, you can select “Never. No digest emails.” and then click Save.
Voila, no more digest emails. Do the same thing with any other types of emails you get
(e.g., the ones that open with “Can you answer this question?”).

However, stopping emails will not delete your account (if you have one, which I suspect
you do, however inadvertently you signed up for it). So before clicking on Save, click on
“Edit other settings.”

Did you know that Quora questions are answered by other users, and almost never by
Quora staff?

Even though you didn't ask this question anonymously, we have no way of knowing which
other account you are talking about. Even Quora staff probably don't have any way of
knowing.

As such, I can only give you possibilities. Do not take this personally, because I would say
the same to anyone I didn't know.

The first possibility is that you used that other account for serious violations of Quora rules,
and did not post anything the moderators thought was worth keeping. Even spam

Assuming a full-on browser here so sorry if this doesn’t apply to mobileapps

1. Hit your profile picture

2. That resulting pop up shows a number of links including ‘Settings”

3. In there go to “Privacy”

4. Scroll down (a long way) to see the “Deactivate” and “Delete” Account options

5. Hitting these will cause Quora to ask you “are you sure?”, “are you really sure?”,
“are you absolutely positive” and so on until it says something along the lines of
“Oh all right then - but we won’t really do it for a few weeks so it is still there
when you change your mind”
