It is a well-known fact that many people use the travel agency service, while others prefer to make trips
themselves. Personally I like to use the help of professionals in organizing the holidays. A package holiday
is one of the most convenient and interesting holiday one can have. To start with, the way of buying a ready
trip is easy and quick. As people do not need to think and worry about arranging flights, booking a hotel
room and meals. This work will be done by special agents. So, a package holiday consists of transport and
accommodation advertised and sold by a tour operator. At the same time package holidays have a number of
disadvantages. To start with, you basically spend most of your time in the resort complex. This means that
you do not visit local attractions or learn about the people and culture of the country. However, the worst
thing that might happen when you choose package holidays is that you can be cheated by the travel agency.
To sum up, package holidays have both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, they are cheap and
convenient, but on the other hand, they can limit your choice.
