NAME
Sets the low bank angle limit that will be
ON used by the FGCS. When the low bank is

active, the bank limit is 17 degrees.

NAME
Removes the FD command from the on-side
PFD, unless the autopilot is engaged and the
on-side PFD is the selected source. Re-
ON
moves the FD command symbol from the
FD pushbutton PFD. The green annunciator stays on until
the FD pushbutton is reselected.
Removes the FD command bars from the
OFF non-coupled side on the PFD, if the autopilot
is engaged.

NAME
Used to change the altitude target. The CW
rotation increases the altitude target. The
CCW rotation decreases the altitude target.
ALT SEL knob CW/ CCW The altitude target changes by the number
of clicks of the ALT SEL knob: ≤ 3 clicks
equals ±100 ft (±50 m) change; >3 clicks
equals ±500 ft (±250 m) change.
ALT SEL
ON Sets the PFD to show the meters window.

Sets any other FGCS active mode to the
FLCH (Flight Level Change) mode. The
ON
FLCH annunciator turns on when the FLCH
FLCH pushbut- mode is active.
ton Makes the FLCH mode inactive and sets the
FPA (basic) operational mode to active. If the

autopilot is not engaged, the FLCH pushbut-
ton sets the mode to standby.
Used to change the vertical speed target.
Turning the VS select wheel down (pitch up
rotation) makes the vertical speed target in-
crease. Turning the VS select wheel up

NAME
Sets the VS mode to the active state. The
ON VS annunciator for the pushbutton turns on

when the VS mode is active.
OFF Sets the VS mode to an inactive state.
Used to do the FPA selection. The CW
movement makes the FPA target and flight
path reference line move up for increasing
values with a resolution of 0.1 degree. The
FPA SEL knob CW/ CCW CCW movement makes the FPA target and
flight path reference line move down for de-
creasing values with a resolution of 0.1 de-
gree. Each click of the FPA knob gives 0.1
degree of FPA.
This is the basic vertical mode (except for
FPA - flight path the takeoff conditions where the fixed pitch is
None

Maintain the current flight path attitude.
