Introduction
As we all know, COVID-19 has turned out into one of the pandemic disease which affects the
whole country all over the world. Malaysia has been ranked as the 4th country in global
survey on public approval of their goverments response to the COVID-19 pandemic due to
the amount of cases appears in Malaysia
As a safety measure to reduce the spread of the disease, an innovation has been made by us,
which is the ‘DELIVERY DRONE’. Basic drones that’s being using commonly is is an
unmanned aerial vehicle technology covers everything from the aerodynamics of the drone,
materials in the manufacture of the physical UAV, to the circuit boards, chipset and software,
which are the brains of the drone. Its an aircraft is made of light composite materials to reduce
weight and increase maneuverability and capability to fly. The purpose of this product is to
deliver packages and foods which has been ordered by the customer. This is to ensure the
social distancing between the delivery rider and the customer during this Covid-19 pandemic
disease issue. Courier company and restaurants could use this delivery drone to deliver
packages or foods to their respective customers or buyers.
Thus, this manual is created for the for those who intended to know more about the function
of features available, procedure on how to use this drone and precautions to be taken while
using it.
1.
DESCRIPTION OF DELIVERY DRONE
A light-weight mini fridge and heater can be fit at the bottom area of the drones without
the need of using a bag or box to carry the foods. With mini fridge and heater installed to
the drones, it will help in delivering good quality foods the way it is served at any
restaurants to the customers. This feature will prove useful for delivering food and
beverages in superb condition by maintaining a hot served foods and beverages like pizza
and hot coffee in a hot condition and cold served foods like ice cream cakes and cold latte
in a cold environment to counter the heat outside of the installed system.
An alcohol-based hand rubs is inserted into one of the compartment in this drone.
This is to ensure the safety of the customers is prevented of having any direct contact with
their bare hands. In a case study, researchers has found that alcohol-based hand sanitizers
recommended by World Health Organization (WHO) are effective in killing the novel
corona virus. Hence during the outbreak of this pandemic COVID-19, customers would
use
this hand-rubs before taking away their respective ordered food or packages which has
been
delivered.

3. GPS system is inducted in this Delivery Drones
A GPS system is inducted in this technology as it turns out into one of the Predominant
features. GPS stands for ‘Global Positioning System’ which is a satellite navigation system
used to determine the ground position of an object. A GPS receiver combines the broadcasts
from multiple satellites to calculate the exact position of a specific place. Thus, with the help
this navigation system, drone could travel anywhere at anytime using the shortest route to
deliver. The specific location of the buyer could be set through remote access by authorised
company or any individual who bought this product.
Artificial intelligence is applied to help monitor the conditions of the drone such as battery
level. This way, the drone will output an algorithm that calculate the shortest route to its own
charging dock when the battery level is low and get right back into delivery operations when
its battery is full on its own. The help of A.I technology will ensure drones to learn by itself
with cumulated data stored including 3D mapping which of an area for optimized route of
flights for further deliveries and optimising cost for electricity used during flight. Another
advantage of A.I is it can develop self-monitoring for damaged parts or faults which the
drones will have the ability to drop by at any drone maintainance service area located nearest
from it.
3.
PROCEDURE FOR CUSTOMERS ON HOW TO USE IT
Precautions
1. Customer are reminded not to get too close to the drone before it land and fly as it
may result in injury.
2. Avoid touching the wind blade.
3. Customers are adviced to apply hand sanitizer which has been provided
