Time of Lesson: 50 minutes Grade Level: 3-4

OBJECTIVE:

Students will work in small groups to solve multiplication problems in the form
of a game of jeopardy. Problems will be displayed on the board and students
will need to know their times table to be able to solve them.

ACTIVITIES:

A premade jeopardy game containing multiplication problems with increasing

difficulty will be displayed on the board. Students will be placed in groups of
four and choose team names. Groups will take turns choosing categories they
would like to answer. They will work together to solve the problems and earn
points.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Students should be in equally distributed groups and they should be picked in

random order. A different student should be speaking on behalf of the group
each time. a
