I agree with the statement because she had numerous famous musicians
like Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Quincy Jones, Piazzola and more. Also she
thought at Paris, United States and United Kingdom and working with
important conservatoires like Juilliard School, the Yehudi Menuhin
School, the Royal College os Music and the Royal Academy os Music.

She is described as the most important woman in the history of classical


music and she became the first woman to conduct many of the major
United States and European symphony orchestras, including the BBC
Symphony, Boston Symphony, Hallé Orchestra and New York
Philarmonic. She also was a mentor of Stravinsky and she had amazing
impact in jazz, tango, funk and hip hop, and also in classical music.

Movement 1

In this piece are playing flute, violin, vibraphone and guitar. There are
different rhythms and big intervals. All are playing short notes but
sometimes the flute and the violin play long notes.

In this movement we can hear doble ropes

The harmony in this movement is atonal

I would describe this movement as animated and funny to play.

5. Founded in 1999, the origins of the orchestra lie in the conversations


between its founders, Edward Said and Daniel Barenboim. In their
exchanges, they realized the urgent need for an alternative way to address
the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This evolved into the West-Eastern Divan
Orchestra that global audiences know today. They demonstrate that
bridges can be built to encourage people to listen to the narrative of the
other. The West-Eastern Divan Ensemble is the most recent imprint of this
project and brings the highly praised artistry of the large orchestra into an
intimate chamber music format.
