What were the best and worst parts of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar?
The worst part of my senior project was deciding on the style and design of
the way I was going to create the blanket. Creating a memory and spending time
with my grandmother was the best part for me.
List three things you now know after completing your Senior Project.
Which aspect of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar stretched you the most?
How did you feel about and react to this challenge?
The thing that stretched me out the most, would have to say is when I had
to stay in Missouri with grandmother to get my project completed. Then waking
up early to attend class and complete homework.
How has the Senior Project/Senior Seminar changed you (skills, attitudes,
work habits, capabilities, confidence, poise, presentation, etc.)?
It has taught me how to improve my skills in a variety of ways, such as the
following: Multitasking, prioritizing, organization and time management. These
skills are going to allow me to advance in the working future of my career. All
these will improve as the years go on, so I am gratefule to what this class has
taught me.
What grade would you give yourself for your Senior Project and what
justification do you have for that grade?
This was a very hard and time consuming project. I would have to say I would give myself an
-A, because there are things I would have wanted to do differently.
The justifications I would have to list are:
● Cutting fabric evenly
● Laying out patterns straighter
● Sewing each piece by hand to make sure patterns stay straight and firm
