NMS Wellness Challenge #3

How to participate…
To participate in the last fitness challenge for this year, simply bring in
$1.00 dollar to your teacher and follow the calendar with a (30 min)
activity each day. You can use the suggested links and follow the pro-
vided activities or simply get out and get active for 30 min a day.

If you get more than one family member (not already in the
challenge) to participate with you, simply add a P to the date on your
calendar for a bonus point. It could be your parents, grandparents or
pets! You can also log onto our NMS PE Weebly ( https://
physicaleducationnms.weebly.com/challenges.html ) to log your
time.

For another bonus please send a photo of your activity or post to twit-
ter and tag @MemorialNasis and use the hashtag #nashmoreroar.

Return your sheet at the end of the challenge to get your certificate.

Weekday Themes GOOD LUCK!

Stretchy Sunday – Treat your body to flexibility exercises like yoga, balance &
gymnastics.
Moving Monday- Get into action with cardio sports like running, biking &
skating.
Tabata Tuesday- Make your workout fun with a blend of short fun activities. You
can use a workout video, station circuit or small games like hopscotch and
jump rope.
Wilderness Wednesday- Get out into nature. clean a trail, go geocaching or create a
scavenger hunt.
Thoughful Thursday– Take time to do something you enjoy! Read a book
take a nap, or bake a healthy snack! Meditate, motivate and mellow out!

Fun Friday– Get out with a friend or family member for an adventure!
Sporty Saturday– Challenge yourself to try a sport that you might not usually
play!
