Samenvatting: Alternative energy started as alternatives to wood, coal, etc. but has now evolved to
refer to non-polluting, renewable energy sources, alternatives to fossil fuels.
Article lists various alternative energy sources, and definitions of the term.
Samenvatting: Explains how aluminum can be used to split water molecules with the reaction 2AlGa +
3H2O -> Al2O3 + 3H2 + 2Ga. This could be used as a portable source of fuel for cars.

Samenvatting: Describes a network of devices meant to encompass a star and harvest much or most of
its output. While not entirely practical at this stage, can provide ideas for the not too distant future.

Samenvatting: Describes how 2 plates when brought close enough in a vacuum will gravitate toward
eachother. This could theoretically be used for energy production.
