    Electronic Device Description (EDD)

    General
    This EDD has the following version identifier:
    DEVICE_REVISION: 210
    DD_REVISION: 14

    With the EDD, the MICROMASTER 440 can be parameterized and diagnosed using the
    SIMATIC Process Device Manager (SIMATIC PDM). Further, the frequency inverter can be diagnosed
    via the SIMATIC PCS7 Asset Management.

    Hardware requirements
    This EDD is only suitable for use with the MICROMASTER 440 frequency inverter, firmware release
    V2.10 and V2.11.

    Software requirements
    This EDD is released for use with the following software packages:
    SIMATIC PDM from version V6.0 SP3 (Important hint: PDM versions >= V8.1 are not
    supported with this EDD-File)
    SIMATIC PCS7 from version 7.1.1 and higher

    Known constraints

    When using EDD within the scope of the PCS7 Asset Management, the following must be observed:

    1.) When selecting the “Diagnostics” view within the diagnostic faceplate, the following message “Data
    being updated, please wait...!” is displayed at the lower edge of the faceplate although the displayed
    data are not being updated. If you wish to see the actual device data, then the update must be
    manually activated using the “Update” button.
