Syllabus

Chemical Process Safety (CH3297)

1. Aims
This couse is developed to provide to students the following knowledge and abilities:
 Toxicology and indistrial hygiene.
 Basic knowledge and prevention of fire and explosion.
 Methods of risk estimation.
 Methods of evaluating hazards, operating problems of a process and the likelihood of an
incident.

2. Course outline

This subject presents knowledge of toxicology and indistrial hygiene. Moreover, this course also
offers knowledge of fire and explosion. Finally, the methods of risk estimation and safety
evaluation of a process system are also represented.
