DOSAGE AND TYPES OF APPLICATION

1) Dosage for flat lines road marking: recommended dosage of 720 gr/m2 (A+B) + 480 gr/m2 of glass beads,
depending on surface.

2) Dosage for application as resin for aggregates retention (1 – 2 mm): in this case, ideal dosage is 2 –
2.5 kg/m2.

3) Dosage for unicomponent application: Component A (6001) can be applied with airless unicomponent
machine, adding glass beads recoated with peroxide (TECNOPEARL kind) and drop-on glass beads.
Dosage for this system is 600 gr/m2 of paint, 300 gr/m2 of TECNOPEARL glass beads and 300 gr/m2 of drop-
on glass beads, the latter must be thinner.

4) Dosage for symbols and pedestrian crossings: recommended dosage of 1000gr /m2 of paint and 500
gr/m2 of drop-on glass beads.

5) To obtain only antiskid property, add aggregates with dosage 250 gr/m2.

6) If both antiskid and retro-reflexion are required, add a mixture of aggregates and glass beads (GRANILUX or
VARILUX kind), with dosage of 480 gr/m2 in both cases.

 Road marking Paint complies with all requirements and characteristics specified in “PLIEGO DE
PRESCRIPCIONES TÉCNICAS (PG-3) – Artículo 700 – MARCAS VIALES” (Spanish Standard) and “UNE
– EN 1871 and UNE – EN 12802.

 ROAD MARKING: when the system is correctly applied, will comply requirements of Standard UNE – EN
1436.
