My name is Angela Jones, science teacher at El Capitan High School, and I am writing a letter of
recommendation for Natalie Saeteurn with regard to all general scholarships she is applying for. I met this
brilliant student during her junior year when she enrolled in my Genetics class. I would describe Natalie as
focused, detailed, and open-minded.

Natalie exhibits numerous strengths as an academic student, athlete, and productive citizen in the Merced
community. While she has maintained a cumulative 3.85+ GPA during high school, Natalie has been a valuable
member of the ECHS Gaucho Marching Brigade Colorguard and ECHS Winterguard for four years.
Additionally, she has donated countless hours helping in the Merced community in a variety of events.

After attending Merced college for two years, her academic goal is to graduate from California State University
Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Her career goal is to become an
elementary teacher within the Merced community. With Natalie’s skills and determination, I am confident that
her hard working mindset will allow her to attain these goals in the near future.

I recommend that you consider Natalie Saeteurn for all general scholarships she has applied for. I believe she
embodies all the characteristics of what you are looking for in a scholarship recipient. She is truly deserving of
such an honor.
