by quarantine to monitor passenger’s location in Japan
for the period of 14 days of self-quarantine.

application after they arrive at Japan and receive an e-
mail from Japan quarantine.
c) “Skype” application
Passenger should search “Skype” application in

Google Play (for Android) or App Store (for iPhone)
and download/install on their smartphone. As “Skype”
will be used for communication with Japan quarantine,
passengers should use the same e-mail ID for “Skype”
as they report to the quarantine as their contact. In
case the passenger is already using “Skype” with other
e-mail ID, he/she has to add the same e-mail ID by
editing profile on “Skype” application.
d) Set “saving location information”
In the “Google Maps” application (for Android) or“Settings

(for iPhone), passengers should set their smartphone to
save location information. This will be checked at the
arrival quarantine.
e) “COCOA” application
Passenger should search “COCOA” application in Google

Play (for Android) or App Store (for iPhone) and
download/install on their smartphone. “COCOA” alerts
possibility of having contacted with COVID-19 infected
persons, and can be active only in Japan.

INDIA EXPRESS
Due to extraordinary circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, there are restrictions at a number of international
destinations. All passengers who propose to purchase tickets for flights DEPARTING INDIA on any Air India or Air India
Expressflights that will be repatriating Indian Nationalsfrom abroad MUST read this document and agree withthe
conditions set out in these guidelines.
1. It is the responsibility of all prospective travelers to satisfy themselves that they are fully eligible to enter or transit the country for
which theyarepurchasing anAirIndia ticket. AirIndia, Air IndiaExpress and theirsubsidiariesacceptno liability inthis regard.
2. As per Annexure B Para 2(ii) of the Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) dated5
May 2020, only those persons shall be allowed to travel to the destination countries who are citizens of that country; who ho ld
visa of at least one-year duration of that country; and Green Card or OCI card holder. In case of medical emergency or death in
the family, Indian nationals holing six-month visa can also be allowed.
3. In several destinations, Only NATIONALS FROM THE DESTINATION COUNTRY are being permitted entry. These include OMAN,
KUWAIT, MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES, QATAR, SAUDI ARABIA and UAE. Conditional exceptions have been made for some
