TRUSSES

TOP Chord – truss component that carries the purlins and roof panels.
BOTTOM Chord – Truss component which is directly in contact with
the roof beam
KING Post – Determines the height of trusses
VERTICAL/DIAGONAL web members – Truss components which
absorbs the stresses brought about by the lateral forces.
