Once all of the items below have been received by Ohlone College your application is complete. If you are admissible
you will then be provided an Acceptance Packet.
NOTE: Transfer Applicants currently in America may apply later than these deadlines.
Financial Affidavit You and your financial supporter(s) must complete and sign this form. (Included in
this application)
$50.00 Application Fee This fee is nonrefundable. It may be paid by credit card, using the Credit Card Payment
Form. Or, it may be paid by check to “Ohlone College”.
TOEFL or IELTS Score Report Minimum 57 score on the Internet-based Test, 163 on the Computer-
based Test, or 490 on the Paper-based Test, or 5.5 on IELTS. The Ohlone College ETS
code is 4579. Copy of score reports are accepted.
OR
Apply for the Ohlone College ELI (English Language Institute) and receive Conditional Admittance to

NOTE: Alternative proof of English proficiency that Ohlone College accepts and the deadline to submit proof of English

If you have earned a Bachelor’s Degree or higher please provide a statement of why you want to attend a
community college and what your educational goals are.
For Transfer Applicants ONLY: If you currently hold an F-1 Visa/I-20 at another school in the U.S. you
are considered a Transfer Applicant. In addition to all of the items above, please also
include with your application copies of the following:
(1) A copy of your current Form I-20; (2) a copy of your Visa; and (3) a print out of your I-94 information (4) If you
already earned a degree in U.S., provide statement of why you want to attend Community College

If a spouse and/or children will be accompanying the student as F-2 Visa holders (dependents of an F-1 Visa-holder,) an
additional $6,000 must be demonstrated for your spouse and an additional $5000 must be demonstrated for each child. Please
provide the following information or a copy of each passport: Full Name of Spouse/Child as it appears on the passport, Date
of Birth, Country of Birth, Country of Citizenship, and Gender.
The person named in the Release Authorization will come to Ohlone College to pick up my Acceptance Materials.
Please mail my Acceptance Materials to the person (or agency) named in the Release Authorization below.
International students are required to provide documentation of financial support before a Form I-20 can be issued to them
by Ohlone College. Documentation of financial support includes 2 items: 1) this completed Financial Affidavit form; and 2) an
official bank statement. Please submit BOTH of these items as part of your application.
SELF-SUPPORTING STUDENTS: If the student will use his/her own personal funds as the source of financial support, the
student must provide an official bank statement showing the availability of at least $19,950 for Degree Studies or $27,400
for ELI Studies. All finances must be in liquid assets. Student must complete the Statement of Financial Obligation below.
STUDENTS SUPPORTED BY A FINANCIAL GUARANTOR: If someone else will financially support the student
(examples: family member, friend, or private institution,) the Financial Guarantor must provide their official bank statement
showing the availability of at least $19,950 for Degree Studies or $27,400 for ELI Studies. All finances must be in liquid assets.
Student and Financial Guarantor must complete the Statement of Financial Obligation below.

After your application is complete, Ohlone College will issue you an Admission
Letter, and a Form I-20.
Those documents will be supplied to you in the manner you request in the
application.
New students not currently in America will use the Form I-20 to apply for their F-1
Student Visa at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate nearest to their home.
o Transfer Applicants will show the Transfer Letter to their current school,
and request a Transfer of their I-20 to Ohlone College.
