10:50 – Synthesis:
The Gospel according to St. John 15:12-15

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as

I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that
someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if
you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants,
for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I
have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father
I have made known to you.

The Gospel of the Lord.

Friendships can often be exclusive with some people ’in’
and some ‘out.’ But Jesus’ friendship goes beyond the
conventional and traditional definition of friendship. He offered
a kind of friendship that goes beyond even giving and offering
His own life. “This is my commandment, that you love one
another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this
that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (Jn. 15)
Sometimes friendships break up, and there are reasons
why this happens, likewise friendships can be mended.
Forgiveness is a very important element in this. However, there
is also the need, at times, for friendships to change, as young
people discover who they are and what interests them. This
change of friendships is healthy, but it is sad if anger and
bitterness are caused by these changes.

Let us have this Prayer of Friendship (Vienna Cobb Anderson)

Write the name of your prayer partner in your “Workbook,” then make a
Commitment Vow.

“Mula sa araw na ito, sa harap ng Diyos, ipinapangako ko ikaw__________

ay ipagdadasal ko sa lahat ng mga adhikain mo.”

A Friendship Prayer by Vienna Cobb Anderson.

You have blessed us, O God,

with the gift of friendship,
the bonding of persons
in a circle of love.
We thank you for such a blessing:
for friends who love us,
who share our sorrows,
who laugh with us in celebration,
who bear our pain,
who need us as we need them,
who weep as we weep,
who hold us when words fail,
and who give us the freedom
to be ourselves.
Bless our friends with health,
wholeness, life, and love.
Amen.
After the prayer, kindly click the react button “like” or “accepted”
button to your partner in the atmosphere of prayer, and say the words;
“FRIEND REQUEST: ACCEPTED”
11:00am Closing Prayer: Eucharistic Adoration

This moment we are all invited to spend quality time with our One and True
friend Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
Sit quietly with reverence. Focus your eyes to your friend
Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Listen to His Words.
