It is of quite importance to learn about isotopes of different elements because it informs

us whether or not some of an elements isotopes are stable or radioactive. There are a
number of radioactive isotopes which are helpful and beneficial to us like in food
preservation, medical treatment, and even in dating back on archaeological artifacts;
however, knowing that there are isotopes that can be put to good use, there will also be
isotopes that can be risky to not just us, but to the environment as well. Which is why it
is important for us to be informed about such things for us to be able to maximize the
useful effects of named substance while also keeping ourselves safe from danger.
