TECHNICAL INFO SHEET: FREQUENT ALARMS "EJECTION MONITOR"

At first make sure that the bowl is doing the de-sludge or not. Please increase the
water pressure from 2,0 bar in steps of 0.5 bar to a mximum of 4,0 bar and check the
operating water valve for proper function. If still no success please strip down the
bowl in order to check all bowl gaskets.
In case the bowl is doing the de-sludge but the alarm comes up although we kindly
ask you to check the condition and numbers of the clutch shoes. One clutch shoe can
be added in case the total number of clutch shoes is three pcs resp. four pcs after
adding the clucth shoe. Please never run with five pcs clutch shoes. Make sure that the
clutch shoes are evenly spaced. Please check the condition of the flat belt.
The Ejection Monitoring System is utilizing the motor current during ejection. There
are two ways to measure the current: the maximum peak during ejection (mode
"MANUELL") as well as the difference from the no-load current before de-sludging to
the maximum peak (mode "AUTO"). Please see the sketch attached as a more detailed
illustrative material.
If everything has been checked and found in good order please re-adjust the setpoint
for the ejection monitoring system at the timing unit type C7. To do so please find the
Directory DIR 09 "AI-List" (Analog Input List). The cursor is flickering on the setpoint
for the mode MANUELL. The recommended mode is the mode "AUTO". The setpoint
for mode "AUTO" is three lines below the setpoint "MANUELL". To change the
running mode to "AUTO" please find with the cursor the line "MANUELL". Please
press the function key "SHIFT" and finally the cursor down  key. The mode will
switch over to "AUTO". Please press ENTER to confirm the new setting. The setpoint
for mode "AUTO" needs to be decreased in steps of 0.5 A untill the problem is solved.
In addition to that we kindly ask you to change the Timer 28 "Ejection Monitor" to 10
sec. To lift the password protection please enter the four digit code 4000 when being
requested and confirm by pressing ENTER and finally ESC.
