THE POWERFUL ONE

Ideology is a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which form the basis
of economic or political theory and policy. It is so important for a country because it
can affect how the public thinks and behave as well as how they progress as a whole.
Ideology also contains a nation goals of establishment which is crucial because it is
needed to be the country’s basis of state. By being the identity and basis on how the
nation is running, ideology is one of the things that held a country together.

Ideology is a system which is so powerful. It determines to which direction the

country will be headed. Because it is affecting the policy and law of a nation, the people
is obligated to be in line with the ideology itself. The influence of ideology is so strong
and doesn’t affected by even ethnical or racial similarities. For example, the Russian
and other European countries, and also the South and North Korea themselves. South
Korea is a capitalist, on the other hand North Korea is a communist country. Even
though the nation was originally divided by a cold war between the USA and USSR
back at the time, South and North Korea’s tension are not showing any sign of going
down until now.

The war took its toll from both sides. As seen in the movie, the victim came from
civilians who don’t even know what the problem is. The ideology differences also built
a hatred towards another country, like how north Korean hates the USA. It shows that
ideology affect how a nation thinks and behave. North Korea also wants to take over
and seize territory owned by South Korea because they think that South Korea is
colonized by te USA. On the other hand South Korea wants North Korea see hw
communism is affecting their country.

The war is still going on until now. The Korean’s war shows us that the impact
of ideology to its human-being in the nation is so powerful. Its effect is growing deep
inside the people’s life. It change how they see their life, and each other life. Their
same racial and ethnical background are now divided by a wall, called ideology.
