Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited (From: 1 July- 30 sept 2020)
Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited is a Pakistani tobacco manufacturing company which is a subsidiary of
British American Tobacco. It is headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan and is the biggest cigarette maker in
Pakistan. It has two factories which are located in Akora Khattak, and Jhelum.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality supervisor, my concern was with collecting samples from tobacco bales for checking the
moisture content present through Lab analysis. Besides this making sure that all the Record was
maintained in perfect order so that the required level for further production steps are hurdle free. Keeping
the Laboratory in perfect working conditions and hazard free was my top priority.

Taj Wood Board Mills (PVT) Limited (from: 25Oct 2020-30April2021)
Taj Wood Board Mills is one of the known Industry in Taj Group of Companies located in Dargai, Malakand,
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan Production of Hard Board, which has high density and strength
which is a quality substitute for wood and is commonly for used panel in building decoration and for
furniture manufacturing. The organization is growing in production day by day.

Responsibilities:
I was appointed at the production department, where wood was exposed to chemical modification.
Hardboard manufacturing begins by softening wood chips in a pressurized steamer and grinding them into
fibers. The fibers are mixed with resin, formed into mats and hot pressed to make panels. The panels are
heat treated and undergo humidification, a process that adds moisture to prevent warping, before being
finished and packaged for shipment.

Beside these I was appointed to manage the Health and safety related Tasks such as:

 Implementation of HSE Policy.

  Risk Assessments of activities in order to identify hazards related to particular task.
 Suggesting control measures regarding hazards.
 Delivered trainings on hazards and safe working methods to be adapted.
 Strict monitoring of flammable zones.
 Conducting TBTs (Tool Box Talk) before every activity.
 Inspection of Cutting, Welding, Grinding, Lifting and Handling Tools to ensure safety.
 Providing trainings on Emergency procedures to be followed.
 Investigating Accidents, Incidents and Near misses to identify loopholes in control measures.
 To maintain awareness of active and developing situations.
 To ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan.
 To participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the
operations daily work-plan.
 Investigating accidents that have occurred within incident areas.
 Ensuring preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).

Denim is one of leading Fabric Producing Company in Pakistan.

Responsibilities:
I was appointed at Processing Lab and at the dyeing Box Machines where fabric was dyed. As part of
processing lab it was our duty to check overall process of the dyeing box machine and collect samples from
the dyeing box throughout the process different tests included indigo test, starch content, caustic soda
level etc. As denim follows strict rules towards its workers safety I also performed the following duties:
 Verifying that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related authorities.
 Proper housekeeping was to be ensured after completion of tasks.
 Verifying that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
 Promoting safe practices at the job site.

Pakistan Ordinance Factories, Wahcantt. (From 7July-1august 2019)
The Pakistan Ordnance Factories is a major firearm, defense contractor, and Military Corporation
headquartered in Wah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan. Working in POF was a great experience and I did my
internship in there for duration of our summer vacations that was of one month.

Responsibilities:
 Studying plant and equipment configuration so that they can be readily adapted to suit the product
range and the process technologies involved, taking environmental and economic aspects into
account.
 Ensuring that potential safety issues related to the project operator, the environment, the process
and the product are considered at all stages.
 Working closely with Process chemists and control engineers to ensure the process plant is set up
to provide maximum output levels and efficient running of the production facility.
