DESIGNING A TECHNOLOGY BASED ACTIVITY

AP 10: Contemporary Issues
(Educational Issues)

I. Instruction
1. The teacher will group the class in the most desirable number.
2. From the discussed educational issues, the teacher will assign one to each group.
3. Every group will search for additional information about the issue.
4. After which, make a video- preferably documentary like presentation about the issue.
5. Introduce your topic at the beginning of your video presentation. You can only record
your presentations inside the vicinity of the school and strictly on school days only.
6. You may include video clips from the internet if you were not able to record such issues.
Make sure to acknowledge the owner to avoid plagiarism.
7. Make necessary editing for a better quality and smooth presentation.
8. The videos will be presented on the classroom and will be later assessed by each group.
9. After watching, you will upload them to our Facebook page.

II. The Activity

Students will work together with their assigned groups to create a video project
(documentary like) that focuses on educational issues happening today. The production
should include suitable photographs and video clips about their chosen issue. The final
project should be uploaded to the class Facebook Page. The purpose of this task is to spread
awareness about the issues and will encourage educators and other people concerned to
make necessary adjustments and solutions to the different problems in educational sector.
Moreover, this activity will let you realize the importance of quality education.
