Surah Yunus
Ayah 2

ِ ‫اسَ َو َب ِش ِرَٱلَّذِينَََ َءا َمنُ ٓواَْأ َ َّنَلَ ُه ۡمَقَ َد َم‬

ٍ ‫َص ۡد‬
َ‫ق‬ ََ ‫َم ۡن ُه ۡمَأ َ ۡنَأَنذ ِِرَٱل َّن‬ ِ ‫َر ُج ٖل‬َ ‫ع َجبًاَأ َ ۡنَأ َ ۡو َح ۡي َنآَ ِإلَ ٰى‬ ِ ‫أ َ َكانَََ ِلل َّن‬
َ َ‫اس‬
َ َ]٢,‫َ[سورةَيونس‬٢َ‫ين‬ َ ٰ َ‫َر ِب ِه ۡ ۗۡمَقَالََٱ ۡل ٰ َك ِف ُرونَََ ِإ َّنَ ٰ َهذَاَل‬
ٌ ‫رَ ُّم ِب‬ٞ ‫س ِح‬ َ ‫ِعن َد‬
What! is it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among themselves, saying:
Warn the people and give good news to those who believe that theirs is a footing of firmness with
their Lord. The unbelievers say: This is most surely a manifest enchanter.
He Picked you??It is an odd thing!
Why would Allah give us such importance?
How People React

َ ٰ َ‫ع ۡنَ َءا ٰ َي ِتنَا‬

َ ٧َ َ‫غ ِفلُون‬ ََ ‫ضواََِْبٱ ۡل َح َي ٰوةََِٱلد ُّۡن َياَ ََوٱ ۡط َمأ َ ُّنوَاَْ ِب َه‬
َ َ‫اَوٱلَّذِينَََه ُۡم‬ َ ‫نَٱلَّذِينَََ ََلَ َي ۡر ُجونَََ ِلقَا ٓ َءن‬
ُ ‫َاَو َر‬ ََّ ِ‫إ‬
7. Surely those who do not hope in Our meeting and are pleased with this world´s life and are content with
it, and those who are heedless of Our communications:

The concept of YOLO (you only live once)

When They care about Him:

ُ ‫ض َّرَهُۥَ َم َّرَ َكأَنَلَّ ۡمَ َي ۡد‬

َٓ‫ع َنا‬ َ َ‫عانَاَ ِل َج ۢن ِب ِهَۦَٓأ َ ۡوَقَا ِعدًاَأ َ ۡوَقَا ٓ ِئ ٗماَفَلَ َّماَ َكش َۡفنَا‬
ُ َُ‫ع ۡنه‬ َ ‫ُّرَ َد‬
َُّ ‫سنَََٱلض‬ َ ٰ ‫سَٱ ۡ ِۡلن‬
َّ ‫َوإِذَاَ َم‬
َ ]١٢,‫َ[سورةَيونس‬١٢َ َ‫َز ِينَ َ ِل ۡل ُم ۡس ِرفِينَََ َماَ َكانُواَْ َيعۡ َملُون‬ ُ َ‫س َهُۥَۚ َك ٰذَلِك‬ ُ َ‫إِلَ ٰى‬
َّ ‫ض ٖرَ َّم‬
And when affliction touches a man, he calls on Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing;
but when We remove his affliction from him, he passes on as though he had never called on Us on
account of an affliction that touched him; thus, that which they do is made fair seeming to the
extravagant.
The reason people forget because they go excessive, Extremism.

About Me & You

ٰٓ
َ ]َ١٤,‫َ[سورةَيونس‬١٤َ َ‫فَت َعۡ َملُون‬ ُ ‫ضَ ِم ۢنَبَعۡ ِد ِه ۡمَ ِلنَن‬
َ ‫ظ َرَ َك ۡي‬ َ ِ‫ث ََُّمَ َجعَ ۡل ٰنَ ُك ۡمَ َخلَئ‬
َ ِ ‫فَفِيََٱ ۡۡل َ ۡر‬
 Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may see how you act.

ََِّۚ ‫شفَ ٰعَٓ ُؤنَاَ ِعن َدَٱ‬

َ‫ّللَقُ ۡل‬ ٓ َ ‫َويَقُولُونَ َ ٰ َٓهؤ‬
ُ َ‫َُل ِء‬ َ ‫َو ََلَيَنفَعُ ُه ۡم‬
َ ‫ض ُّر ُه ۡم‬
ُ َ‫اََلَي‬ َ ‫ّللَ َم‬
ََِّ ‫ُونَٱ‬ ِ ‫َويَعۡ بُدُونَََ ِمنَد‬
َ١٨َ َ‫ع َّماَي ُۡش ِر ُكون‬ َ َ‫س ۡب ٰ َحنَ َهُۥَ َوت َ ٰ َعلَ ٰى‬
ُ َ‫ض‬ َ ۚ ِ ‫تَ َو ََلَفِيََٱ ۡۡل َ ۡر‬ َّ ‫اََلَ َيعۡ لَ ُمَفِيَٱل‬
َِ ‫س ٰ َم ٰ ََو‬ َََّ ‫أَتُن َِبَونَ َٱ‬
َ ‫ّللَ ِب َم‬
َ ]َ١٨,‫[سورةَيونس‬
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are
our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the
heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up
(with Him).
People that become obsessed with this world they go to some intermediary instead of God and
Allah expects from you these intermediate people don’t have any expectations from you. Then
you go to that person for the Dunay things, they use it for this life only.

َ‫علَ ٰ ٓىَأَنفُ ِس ُك ۖم‬ َُ َّ‫قَ ٰيَٓأَيُّ َهاَٱلن‬

َ َ‫اسَ ِإنَّ َماَبَ ۡغيُ ُك ۡم‬ َِ ۡۗ ‫ضَبِغ َۡي ِرَٱ ۡل َح‬
َ ِ ‫فَلَ َّمَا َٓأَن َج ٰى ُه ۡمَ ِإذَاَ ُه ۡمَيَ ۡبغُونَ َفِيَٱ ۡۡل َ ۡر‬
َ َ‫َّم ٰت َ َعَٱ ۡل َح َي ٰوَِةَٱلد ُّۡن َيَۖاَث ُ َّمَ ِإلَ ۡينَاَ َم ۡر ِجعُ ُك ۡمَفَنُن َِبئ ُ ُكمَ ِب َماَ ُكنت ُ ۡمَت َعۡ َملُون‬
َ ]٢٣,‫َ[سورةَيونس‬٢٣
But when He delivers them, lo! they are unjustly rebellious in the earth. O men! your rebellion is
against your own souls-- provision (only) of this world´s life-- then to Us shall be your return, so
We will inform you of what you did.

ME Thinking Of An Another Quran Would Be Dangerous Enough For Me!!

Until 56 it’s about who don’t believe in it and then HE decided to turn His attention away
from him and towards his people who believe in it, how should the relationship me.

‫ة‬ٞ ‫ور َوهدٗ ى َو َر ۡح َم‬ ِ ‫ة ِمن َّربِكمۡ َو‬ٞ ‫ظ‬

ُّ ‫ ِل َما فِي ٱل‬ٞ‫شفَا َٰٓء‬
ِ ‫صد‬ َ ‫يََٰٓأَيُّ َها ٱلنَّاس قَ ۡد َجا َٰٓ َء ۡتكم َّم ۡو ِع‬
٥٧ ‫ين‬ َ ‫ِل ۡلم ۡؤ ِم ِن‬
O humanity! Indeed, there has come to you a warning from your Lord, a cure for what is in the
hearts, a guide, and a mercy for the believers.

‫ة‬ٞ ‫ظ‬
َ ‫َّم ۡو ِع‬
• It means when you say something that sometimes scares them and sometimes gives them
hope and you r trying to change someone for the better. You are doing it in a way that
touches their heart.

ۡ‫َّربِكم‬
• Who nourishes you who provides for you who nourishes you?

ُّ ‫ ِل َما ِفي ٱل‬ٞ‫ش َفا َٰٓء‬

‫صدور‬ ِ ََ
• A healing for whatever lies in the chest. Diseases like selfishness arrogance, heedlessness,
lust etc.
• There are emotions like loneliness, anxiety, fear.
• A medication of whatever is going on in the chest.
• Everyone is suffering so there is a healing for every one of us, he cares what is going inside.
• He knows what is inside, he knows the secrets and here Allah is saying I know what’s
inside you, your vulnerability is known u need to accept it. First he mentions it.

‫ة‬ٞ ‫َوهدٗ ى َو َر ۡح َم‬

• Guidance & an act of loving and care.
• Figurative speech of using healing. Think about physical healing.
• Healing is to protect you and undo a sickness you have.
• Guidance is how to act what to believe what to do and what not to do.
• He mentions it at the end.
• Medical Health has 3 steps: Prevention, Cure, Instructions. One thing isn’t there and that
is ‫ة‬ٞ ‫م‬
َ ‫ر ۡح‬,
َ they might not care about you and love you.
• In this ayah he has basically described us basically who need good counsel to remain
healthy in life and he has given advice in the Quran, the motivation may go down and
there is a mentorship here to realign you towards the right course.
• We see guidance with the lens of Shifa and when you follow the guidance, we feel the
healing by the beautiful council.
• Then you would experience the love and care.
• Sometimes the relationship is tajweed, listening or Tafseer lets make it our guidance.
While you go through this process this makes you a believer.

ِ ‫ر‬ٞ ‫ٱّللَِ َوبِ َر ۡح َمتِ َِهۦَفَبِ ٰذَ ِل َكَفَ ۡليَ ۡف َر ُحواَْ ُه َوَخ َۡي‬
٥٨َََ‫َم َّماَيَ ۡج َمعُون‬ َۡ ُ‫ق‬
ۡ َ‫لَبِف‬
ََّ َ‫ض ِل‬
Say: In the grace of Allah and in His mercy-- in that they should rejoice; it is better
than that which they gather.
• You are being favored.
• Our hearts fluctuate.
• ْ‫يَ ۡف َر ُحوَا‬
• Happiness in the True place, no place where Allah talks about the secret of Happiness,
Allah makes you truly happy, true joy.
• Collecting: We collect money followers, experiences degrees, credentials, and we think it
would make us happy its time to collect Allah’s word in our hearts.
