Strong and Patient

Being with you was as easy as breathing

Some viewed us as amazing, others didn’t
Seeing you would make me a nervous wreck
Others didn’t see us working, some did
You’d whisper sweet fantasies in my ear
I believed them like a child would, naive
You had me falling so hard for the dreams
I hit reality head first, weeping
My heart completely shattered to bits
I will learn from this, and make myself strong
How does one be strong when the heart is tattered
Patience is what I learn, and practice it
