Beloit Corporation is a leading manufacturer of electrical and
mechanical motion control and power generation products
serving markets throughout the world. They had SAP 4.7
sytem with PS, MM, PP, FI, SD and QM modules. The project
was to upgrade their SAP 4.7 system to SAP ECC 6.0. For
this project Basis team did the entire server preparation and
installation activities. I kept status of all the custom
developments and also did the modifications required to
make all those compatible in ECC 6.0.

Area of Expertise:
 Impact analysis of Existing custom objects of old 4.7
system in new ECC 6.0 environment.
 Necessary modification and enhancements of the

Description Mumias Sugar is the leading Sugar Manufacturer in kenya


With a 60% market share. It sells sugar through appointed
distributors countrywide. Mumias also exports some of its
sugar to international markets mainly in the European Union.
They have the SAP ecc 6.0. and implemented the SAP
workflow process. This workflow is fully customized, and all
the business logic are incorporated in the scenario as per the
requirements. All most all the workflow functionality have
been used in this project, like deadline monitoring, obsolete
workitem, task (using method), fork, agent assignment,
escalation, email handling, wait for event, event firing etc.
I have done some critical workflow scenario and kept the
project status updated .

Workflow. It includes activity like send notification,
reminder- escalation scenario,fork etc. and it includes
BADI,user-exits etc.

Description CLSA has Human Capital Management (HCM) in SAP ECC


6.0. They were using a custom web application for Employee
Self Service. This Employee Self Service did not have any
interface with HCM of SAP. They wanted a solution to
leverage business process of the HCM of SAP ECC. They
also wanted to incorporate most of their existing business
process in the portal.For this project EP team developed the
portal side applications and I was involved as a senior
developer to design RFCs and to write those RFCs.

Responsibilities :
 Creating custom infotype for insurance plan,p-overseas
fund .
 Modifying standard infotype 0168, 0167, modifying the
screen field.
 Developing RFC for ovetime request will cover overtime
create to approval process as well as posting in R/3.
 Developing an insurance report for showing the details of
the insurance policies of staff along with coverage salary,
proposed coverage and shortfall.

Description GFS is largest SAP Implementation, which will impact all key
practice management and financial functions in PwC. The
areas impacted include client, contract and engagement
management; time and expense reporting; project costing,
pricing and valuation; accounts receivable; general ledger;
procurement, accounts payable, financial reporting, and
management reporting.

The development is done according to the enhancement


request sent by the GFS users from US. The project also
includes the performance improvement for several programs
currently running in the system. Designing and developing
new flow logics also one of the key part of the project.

Responsibilities :
 Providing Production Support for day-to-day production
problems. This can be small bug fix, enhancement (minor
as well as major).
 For Major enhancements interacted with business
officials and users to gather the necessary requirements
for preparing Functional Specification (HLSD) and
attended walkthrough meetings.
 Coordinating with Offshore by providing necessary
technical and functional requirements, providing relevant
test data.
 Was a member of the client team for Process defining
and Implementation of the Code Review Checklist, Unit
test Plan and Technical Specifications.
 Preparing Weekly status report showing the status of
each issue in Production, Utilization and forecasting of all
the resources working for the project which was sent to
higher officials of client
 Exposure obtained from the project includes working in
interfaces where file comes from Middleware (Java),

in India.Crompton Greaves is a pioneer in management and
application Electrical energy since 1937.The project was
reimplementation in SAP 4.7.Enhancement/modification to be
done for existing objects and developing new objects based
on change in business requirement.

Sinjana Das worked in this project as one of the key technical


persons. She not only used her knowledge, also expanded
her domain of knowledge to meet the project requirement.

She went to the client side for providing technical support,


Interacting with the client and user.
She clearly understood the business requirement and
developed the objects much earlier than the schedule
deadlines.

Her main achievements in this project are:

 Developing the SapScript for the purchase order for


different purchase organization,for Scheduling agreement
, delivery schedule and goods receipt for different
movement type much earlier than schedule time of
delivery as well as meeting the quality of the
developments.

The project involved implementation of the HR
Module.Sinjana was developer in this project.Her key
responsibilities were:
 To provide estimates and planned dates for deliverable.
 Delivering high quality deliverables to the client on time
and on budget.
 Developing complex ABAP reports and interfaces for the
project with the help of technical specifications provided
by the senior team member and executing unit test. The
interfaces were complex, the client constantly changed
the requirement and expected the deliverables to be up
to high quality.

Description
Artwright is internationally recognized as a leading office
interiors company.   The brand name is known for design,
innovation, and a range of products, System MX, that
provides a fully integrated and highly flexible office interiors
solutions developed from the ground-up. Artwright has
previously SAP R/3 system of version 3.0D. The project was
to upgrade it to SAP R/3 Enterprise version. Since the
difference in versions is too wide, it was not possible to
upgrade directly. The Projects job was to download all master
data from the earlier system and to use those data as a
legacy data for the present system.
 Deliver good quality of work to the client in specified time
period. Develop several inbound interfaces in SD module
for the uploading of the master data to the system.
Understand the client requirements from Functional
Specifications and if required, through e-mail
correspondence & telephone conference with the process
team. Helping process team owner with the technical
input for each object and taking part in the unit testing.
