From Westcliffe, go five miles northwest on Highway 69 to Copper Gulch Road, then 2 miles north
(right) to the reservoir.

Wildlife Area Offers: Regulations:


In addition to or in place of those restrictions listed in regulation #900 the below listed provi-
Fishing: Coldwater Lake, Coldwater Stream sions or restrictions apply (see Ch. 9, http://cpw.state.co.us/aboutus/Pages/Regulations.aspx).

Hunting: Antelope, Waterfowl, Dove, Coyote, A. Off-highway vehicle (OHV) use is prohibited.
Cottontail, Deer, Small Game.
Recreation: Picnicking, Hiking, Wildlife Viewing, NOTE: CPW does not own or lease the recreational boat-
Camping. ing rights on Deweese Reservoir. Recreational boating
includes, but is not limited to, power boating, water ski-
ing, wake boarding, tubing, jet skiing, or sailing etc., but
does not include boats actively fishing. The recreational
boating rights are owned by private parties.

For safety concerns and to comply with a court order


(#158574), only those individuals identified as owning
those recreational rights are able to utilize the recrea-
tional boating rights on the lake.
