The primary mandate of the teacher is to prepare a lesson plan. During the LAC session about
lesson planning, I have learned that a lesson plan is not only primarily a guide for a teacher, but it can
also be a help for teachers in making a good classroom management. It can give the teacher a sense of
security and confidence at the same time it provide a tracking system or record for teacher.
It is emphasize that a lesson plan should be based on the following: SMART, interest and
abilities of the students, own interest and strength, belief about teaching and learning and lastly own
openness to change the plan.
During the LAC session, it was agreed that there will be uniformity in the template of the lesson
plan. Over all , the LAC session was indeed educational.
