Queston One:
HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT THE JOB OPPORTUNITY
LEADING TO YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYMENT?

RESPONSE:
A recruiter contacted me after seeing my resume. He then set
me up with an interview, we discussed job responsibilities,
salary requirements, and benefits. I was then hired.

How had you learned about other job
opportunities in the past?

RESPONSE:
Referrals and employment advertisements.

QUESTION THREE:
If you were (or are) a hiring manager, what
sources would (do) you use to find employees?

RESPONSE:
employment agencies, online resources, and local
business ads.

Question Four:
What are your recommendations for students
searching for jobs?

Response:
Utilize online resources, and prepare
attractive resumes- highlighting academic
or extracurricular activities, and/or
volunteer work.

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU LIKE TO SEE IN A CO-WORKER
IN YOUR FIELD?

Response:
Mathematical knowledge, attention to detail, organization,
and the ability to be precise.

Question Six:
What advancement positions have you taken in
the past, and what advancement positions do you
plan or hope to make?

Response:
I have gone from customer service, to customer service
management, to administrative assistant, to service
department admin/dispatch, and then switched to accounting,
specializing in job margins/invoicing. I would love to use the
knowledge I have gained in the business world, to advance
towards a CEO position in the future. 07
Question Seven:
Which job properties are most important to
you when selecting a job?

Response:
Atmosphere is most important, then, the
freedom to not be micromanaged. Lastly, of
course, pay and benefits.

HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO STRESSFUL
SITUATIONS AT WORK, AND ARE THERE BETTER
WAYS THAT YOU THINK YOU COULD RESPOND?

Response:
Honestly I feel like I thrive in stressful situations. I feel like I
have to work in stressful situations, to maintain focus,
because whenever I am not under a heavy workload, I often
get bored and do not perform as well as I possibly could.

Question Nine:
Do you think that past job experience has a great
impact on which employers would be willing to
hire you?

Response:
Absolutely. The differing positions I have held in this industry have
given me a greater understanding of how the business world
operates as a whole. This gives me the knowledge to assure we are
profitable.

Question Ten:
Do you think employers find extensive job experience more
admirable than a college degree in a specific field?

Response:
Personally, my past work experience has given me the
skillset to be placed in positions above those who did have
college degrees, with no prior job experience.

What I Have Learned:

During the process of this interview, I learned that work


experience is often just as important as a degree,
referrals are an important and helpful method for
finding new jobs, and that I can include my academic
achivements on a resume.
