Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes

of undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University. SET is only the

first step to getting admitted to SIU. After SET, each Symbiosis institute has its own
selection process. It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for the
undergraduate programmes of the following Symbiosis institutes:

In the year 2002, there were 3 constituent institutes; subsequently ten more
Institutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of Symbiosis
International University. Ever since then the University has grown from strength to
strength.

SET-2011 will have 5 different papers: General, Design, Law, Engineering and
Health Sciences. The test will be conducted in two sessions, morning and afternoon.
A candidate is allowed to take more than one paper. He can choose Law,
Engineering and Health Services for his morning paper and either General or Design
for his afternoon paper. It is mandatory to complete registration by filling up the on
line application form of the desired institute for the desired programme before the
closing date of application of the respective institute.
