Feedback Report On Computer Studies Year 7
Based on the video recorded during the teaching lesson on week 5, we have reviewed
and below are some comments that we would like to express:
To begin a good lesson, teacher should well prepared with all the resources needed
before starts the lesson or activity. The good way teaching, teacher should be show
first the hook of lesson example the games or quizs with colours full and nice sound.
This things can make the students interested to the lesson or activitiy. Based on our
topic about Computer System, we can show the drag and drop activity using flash
software to students as show below.
Synopsis
The lesson begins with the introduction of the topic, which is Computer System, and
explains to students about the objectives of the lesson (what students need to be able
to achieve at the end of the lesson).
Then, the teacher will show the students the less than five minutes video called Parts
of the computers. This video shows the names of the computer parts as well as the
ways to connect each parts of computer with others.
After watching the video, teacher will show the students the real parts of the computer
such as CPU, Monitor, Mouse, and many more. Moreover, teacher will also show the
students on the parts inside of the CPU or the System unit. The students need to
remember all the names of the computer parts that they learnt in this lesson.
As part of the lesson’s activity, students will be divided into groups, three to four
students in one group. Teacher will explain the objective of the students’ activity, by
which each group of the students need to connect and disconnect the port cable in the
system unit according to their colour coded such as mouse cable with green colour to
be used on the green mouse port.
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to name the different parts of the
computer and able to connect the correct cable according to the colour coding,
