HawkEye 360 Mission Space 021121
INTRODUCTION
With the ability to provide a vast amount of timely and actionable data, there
is a growing recognition of the need for space-based radio frequency (RF)
monitoring to gain an understanding of previously unknown activity around the
world. Yet, deriving meaning beyond just the presence of electronic signals has
traditionally required specific technical skills for interpretation—until now.
HawkEye 360 introduces Mission Space, the first platform purpose-built to bridge the interpretation gap between RF collection and
RF analysis. Mission Space unifies HawkEye 360’s portfolio of RF signal data and analytics all within one intuitive experience,
providing a holistic view of activity that wasn’t present before.
Mission Space takes an analyst-centric model, where complex RF data is automatically processed and translated into insights that
facilitate the understanding of the meaning behind RF emissions. This allows analysts to focus on asking the important questions
to gather actionable intelligence, anticipate events, and accelerate mission outcomes.
Designed with an analyst’s workflow in mind, Mission Space allows you to seamlessly visualize and interact with RF insights
through temporal and spatial analysis while providing relevant mission context throughout each stage of the intelligence cycle.
Mission Space automates the ingestion, visualization, and exploration of signal data and analytics so you can more rapidly gain global situational
awareness. Mission Space harmonizes all the information within one frame of view to accelerate time to insights.
In Mission Space, the highest zoom level will show you the density of RF signals, which makes it easier to recognize trends and patterns of life. Zoom
in further to reveal more in-depth detail about specific signals or events. Whether you are zoomed in or out, Mission Space shows a summary of RF
activity metadata that provides context to the data present in the map view.
Transform RF data into meaningful insights and easily recognize what data is important. Leveraging sophisticated algorithms and signal processing,
Mission Space identifies whether specific behaviors are tied to signal data. By automatically providing these insights, you can understand how events
are unfolding and plan to take the necessary steps to react.
Mission Space incorporates a worldwide repository of maritime vessel information, which adds context to activity and allows you to assess risk
accordingly. The Mission Space Vessel Registry includes vessel identification, historical information, sanction violations, and identified behavior. This
information is merged with specific RF geolocations to
facilitate the understanding of complex relationships
between specific actors and their locations and
behaviors.
AUTOMATE INTELLIGENCE
Customize Alerts and Monitoring
To keep pace with evolving environments, Mission Space automates routine functions to keep you informed of changes while freeing up their
time to conduct further analysis. For example, Mission Space can alert you to important activity with watchlists that track vessels to help better
understand their voyage patterns. In addition, analysts
can monitor areas of interest (AOI) for a combination
of signals and/or behaviors and set up alerts to be
notified when specified combinations of activity occur.
