TREND POEM

We use to see birds in the morning flying in the blue sky,

But now it's the newest drone owned by
Our neighbor that glides in the sky every morning

I saw old friends, they use to play hide and seek when they were young
But now they have a reunion
And they chat virtually and not actually reunited

My sister bought a phone to catch up with her friends

So that she could not experience FOMO or FEAR OF MISSING OUT
They did a tiktok face dance to get famous
Completely forgetting about their school work
They said “NORMALIZE CHILLING! SCREW HOMEWORK!”

My GEN-Z minded aunt ate in a posh restaurant,

Outside was a bunch of beggars watching them,
She took a picture with a caption of her food
#BLESSED

We all fulfill are narcissistic needs

With this so called 'TREND'.
