1. A Q=0.75 μC positive point charge moves constantly at a velocity of 500 m/ s. The magnitude of the magnetic field
at a distance of 5 mm is 25.5 μ T. At what angle does the positive point charge points? (5 points)

2. A toroidal solenoid that has 500 loops produces 15 μT of magnetic field. If the distance from the center of the toroidal
solenoid to the field is 2.5 cm, how much current is produced? (5 points)

3. Two straight, parallel, current-carrying wires of length 1.5 m are separated by a distance of 10 cm contain the same
100 A-currents, flowing in similar directions. What is the force exerted by the two wires upon each other? (5 points)

4. A square shaped antenna has 1.75 m side length installed in a certain place. The plane of the area of antenna is
inclined at 65º with the direction of Earth’s magnetic field. If the magnitude of the flux linked with the antenna is
3.25 ×10−4 Wb, find the magnetic field at that place. (10 points)

5. A square wire loop with 3 cm on each side is found in a uniform magnetic field with magnitude 2.5 T. If the magnetic
field B was rotated to an angle of 30° with respect to the loop’s area from being initially parallel to it in 1.25 s, what
would be the average current in the loop if it has a resistance of 0.05 Ω? (15 points)

6. Calculate the self-inductance of a 30 cm long solenoid with a diameter of 6 cm and has 800 coils. (10 points)
