Overview for Customer Service Team

We have signed a deal with Castrol that makes them our sole provider of oil for all oil change
and oil-related jobs. Mechanics will start using only Castrol oil beginning [date] and customers
may ask about the company and the benefits of its products. Below are the main points you
need to convey to Customer Service agents by April 17 and thereafter.

Cost: oil changes cost the same for customers

How to book an oil change: customers just book a regular oil change - the booking funnel will
show the appropriate oil for their vehicle. The customer doesn’t have to do anything differently.

Availability: Castrol oil is the most common in oil sold in retail (it has been #1 for 18 years in a
row) and is easy for mechanics to get and to use.

Partnership promotion: from now until May 31 we have a promo code (YMCASTROL) to
celebrate our partnership with Castrol. The code is worth $5 off oil changes. It can only be
applied to oil changes - no other services. It applies to new and returning customers.

The Fate of the Furious promotion: customers who book an oil change with us from now until
May 31 can receive up to two free movie tickets. Note that only some oil changes qualify for
free movie tickets. Customers must purchase an oil change service featuring Castrol GTX High
Mileage, Castrol GTX MAGNATEC or Castrol EDGE by 5/31/17 (Castrol GTX conventional oil
does not qualify for the movie tickets). A Castrol GTX High Mileage or Castrol GTX
MAGNATEC purchase will receive *one (1) movie ticket*. Castrol EDGE purchase will receive
two (2) movie tickets.

Customers must be 18 years of age or older to redeem.

How customers get the movie tickets: after the oil change service is complete, a dedicated email
will be sent to the customer with a link to the Castrol page that will prompt them to enter some
details about their service. They will then be prompted to print the movie tickets.

Note: customers can also mail in their oil change receipt using this form to receive the tickets via
mail.

Note: if a customer enquires about which code to use for either of these forms, it is P3779.

Types of Castrol Oil

Castrol Edge High Mileage

Provides maximum engine performance in vehicles with 75K+ miles. Boosted with extra Fluid
Titanium Technology to increase film strength and fight power-robbing friction in higher mileage
performance engines.

Problem: As your car ages, its engine can lose performance and efficiency.

Features:
● Extra Fluid Titanium Technology to increase its film strength
● 3X stronger against viscosity breakdown than conventional oils and the leading full
synthetic oil (tested in the ASTM D6278 test in the 5W-30 grade)

Benefit: Strength that keeps your high mileage car performing at its best

Additional benefits:

● Maximizes short- and long-term engine performance on high mileage engines

● Reduces leaks, oil burn-off and power-robbing deposits
● Improves fuel economy

Castrol Edge

Engineered with Fluid Titanium Technology to provide superior motor oil strength for engines
that work harder due to higher engine pressures, helping to maximize vehicle performance.

Problem: Today’s more efficient engines run at higher pressure than ever before, causing more
stress on the oil

Features:
• Fluid Titanium TechnologyTM
• 3X stronger against viscosity breakdown than conventional oils and the leading full synthetic
oil (tested in the ASTM D6278 test in the 5W-30 grade)

Benefit: Titanium strong for maximum engine performance

Additional benefits:

● Reduces metal-to-metal contact across a range of different driving speeds

● Protects the engine for the entire drain interval even under extreme pressure •
Decreases engine deposit formation to help maximize engine response

Castrol GTX MAGNATEC

Up to 75% of engine wear occurs during warm-up. That’s why Castrol GTX MAGNATEC has
intelligent molecules that cling to the engine, providing a layer of protection that dramatically
reduces engine wear and leaves critical engine parts up to 4X smoother.

Problem: Up to 75% of engine wear occurs during warm-up

Features: Intelligent molecules cling to the engine surface

Benefit: Protects from the start leaving engine parts up to 4X smoother.

Additional benefit: Castrol GTX MAGNATEC 0W-20, 5W-20 and 5W-30 grades meet dexos1
requirements

Castrol GTX High Mileage

Phosphorus is an industry recognized catalyst problem. Castrol GTX HIGH MILEAGE is

formulated with less phosphorus than other leading oils while still delivering unsurpassed
protection against sludge, wear and oil burn-off.

Problem:
Catalytic converter failure is one of the most common and costly repairs for high mileage
vehicles (75K+ miles)

Features: Formulated with Phosphorus Replacement TechnologyTM to reduce catalytic

converter poisons, help prevent emission system failure and extend vehicle life

Benefit: Superior emission system protection

Additional benefits:
● Superior dispersancy that fights sludge build-up
● Exceptional oil burn-off protection exceeding industry standards
● Seal conditioners to help reduce leaks, and advanced additives to minimize engine wear

Castrol GTX

Engine sludge can block vital oil ways like cholesterol that, if untreated, can deprive an engine
of power and ultimately, its life.

Problem: Engine sludge can build up due to severe driving conditions, poor fuel quality and
exceeding oil change intervals

Features: GTX’s Double Action Formula cleans away old sludge and protects against new
sludge formation better than tough industry standards

Benefit: Superior sludge protection and prevention
