Expanded my teaching training by co-teaching in an ELL Kindergarten classroom in a
rural public-school.
Developed cultural diversity by studying abroad in South Africa in which I mentored
students to help them further develop their English comprehension.
Expanded my teacher-community training by participating in parent-teacher conferences.
Developed my leadership skills by being involved in on-campus events such as being a
member of the Bearfest committee, community outreach center, and the ENGAGE
program.
Participated in the American Association of Geography Middle States Conference by
presenting research into how college aged students can better learn Geography through
RPG games.
