rural public-school.
 Developed cultural diversity by studying abroad in South Africa in which I mentored
students to help them further develop their English comprehension.
 Expanded my teacher-community training by participating in parent-teacher conferences.
 Developed my leadership skills by being involved in on-campus events such as being a
member of the Bearfest committee, community outreach center, and the ENGAGE
program.
 Participated in the American Association of Geography Middle States Conference by
presenting research into how college aged students can better learn Geography through
RPG games.
