Number of Modules: 5 @ 60hrs/ module
Number of Students/ Class: 15-24

General Objectives:

At the end of the subject, trainee will be able to acquire basic


knowledge and skills in Japanese Language, culture, ethics and general
information.

Specific Objectives:

1. To be able to appreciate the Japanese Culture and Tradition and be


able to apply it to the daily life situations.

2. To be able to discuss the general history of Japan in general, its


language, form of government, society, education, work and social
ethics, working conditions, and other relevant information
concerning future employment with a Japanese or in Japan in
particular.

3. To be able to acquire basic conversational skills on Basic Japanese


with applications to their future employment and possible stay in
Japan.

4. To be able to know how to read and write using Japanese Syllables


and Characters in Hiragana, Katakana, and simple Kanji.
