Banning all the travellers from foreign lands will be advantageous to the country itself. The main
goal that must be forwarded is not to get infected assuming the country is a zero-case region. This
strategy could give an ample time for identifying the means and rate of transmission as well as the
incubation of the pathogen for better understanding of its re-emergence. Assuming an uninfected country,
it would be also an opportunity to the medical field for they can actively participate in clinical trials for
vaccine given for example that the specific country contains a wide array of plants with medicinal
properties.

On the contrary, this method can also be perceived as poor because of aggressiveness that the
president demonstrated. An isolation period for treatment could have been given to thirty-seven infected
individuals given that those who will facilitate the treatment will follow every necessary step for the
safety of all people. In addition, a certain case must also be considered – the entry of possibly infected or
carrier individuals before the imposition of travel ban.

The approach needed may vary from places but it should be known that this greatly relies on the
availability of the healthcare responses and facilities.
