● If not, give them a quick synopsis of their duologues ● Write down the primary emotion of the whole scene ● Get them to break up their duologue into beginning, middle and end. ● Write down the primary emotion for each section ● Walk around the room, displaying each emotion with a smooth transition into each one ● Continue to walk around the room, embodying their character and displaying each emotion ● Split into groups and rehearse duologues. Focus on displaying the emotions physically throughout the scene, Given circumstances (weather, time of day, temperature, what do we hear) ● Show back and give feedback ● Take feedback on board and rehearse a bit more ● Show back again ● Ask “Where could this be staged?”
