ACTIVITY PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. ACTIVITY TITLE:
CNSHS Brain Mesh: The First Virtual Math
and Science Compendium

CNSHS Faculty Members, Students, Parents, and other members of

community.
V. RATIONALE:
The start of the pandemic posed great challenges worldwide and gives
far-reaching consequences beyond the spread of the disease. At the same
time, the current crisis is also a strong driver of different innovations and it
calls for creative solutions on how to cope with it and to learn its lessons.
The Department of Education during this pandemic seeks to ensure

that student’s leaning progresses amidst disasters such as calamities and
pandemics. Also the DepEd addresses the challenges in the basic education
through the Learning Continuity Plan which is a form of response and
commitment in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the learners,
teachers and personnel in time of COVID-19.

Grasping this ultimate goal of the Department of Education to facilitate

a successful academic school year amidst the pandemic, our school sets
different plans and strategies on how we will be effectively capable in offering
basic education despite the crisis.
In lieu of this, the proponent made an idea to develop an innovation to

cater a virtual science and mathematics competition that will promote and
showcase the student’s knowledge, skills, competencies, and abilities
throughout their time of tenure with this institution. All the activities that will
commence shall strictly follow the implementing rules and regulations of the
Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Covid Protocols, as well as the implementing
guidelines of our Local Government Unit (LGU).
VI. OBJECTIVES:
After the implementation of this innovation, it is expected to;
1. To facilitate students learning effectively through various learning

modalities and school programs by giving them quality education amidst
this pandemic.
2. To promote the rendering and delivery of quality education towards the
improvement and development of student’s competencies.
3. To strengthen the interaction and collaboration of all the stakeholders
mentioned prior to this provision.
4. To demonstrate and highlight the CNSHS student’s knowledge, skills,
competencies, and abilities at their maximum capabilities.

5. To create a fun and unwinding activity where students are free to explicate
their display of knowledge through its application.
VII. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION AND MECHANICS:
This activity entitled “CNSHS Brain Mesh: The First Virtual Math and Science
Compendium shall have an intermittent execution of activity to allow the students to
prepare themselves and do not interrupt with the online/modular class schedules. All
the activities shall commence in the time allotted with their science and mathematics
subjects and are listed down below:

This activity shall consist of three (3) events namely, DROP THE EGG,
STRAW TOWER and BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION.

learners, parents, stakeholders and other community the sets of plans, strategies,
techniques and solutions that was being used to address the challenges given by the
current crisis that everybody is currently facing.

No fees to be collected from the students. All expenses incurred will be

charged against MOOE subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
X. EXPECTED OUTPUT:
1. Portfolio of each sections in Grade 11 and Grade 12 level as part of the

teachers accomplishments in the new normal.
2. Over-all Portfolio of the school that provides the plans and accomplishments
for the first semester of school year 2020-2021.

The implementation of the project is in line with the annual implementation

plan and school improvement plan where the main objective is to address the
challenges brought by the pandemic and serve the quality education that every
learner deserves. School head, teachers, parents and students shall support this
project by providing all the necessary outputs, projects, documents and reports
needed to compete the portfolio. Feedback from the parents, learners, community
and other DepEd personnel shall be solicited in order to improve the project.
