JIHAD- considered the 6th pillar; it means “to struggle” or

“To exhaust one’s effort” to please god

FRIDAY- holy day for Muslims

MOSQUE- special place of worship

MUEZZIN- the official of the mosque (tower of the mosque)

IMAM- prayer leader
