Amar Polymers is an Indian manufacturer of engineered mechanical, rubber

and polymeric components for multiple engineering sectors. Amar Polymers
established in 1978 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu by Mr. A. M. Sekar, started out as
a manufacturer of rubber moulded components. With a pioneer experience
of over 50 years, Mr. A. M. Sekar, sits at the helm of the product design and

engineering. In 1990, Amar entered the Wind Power industry for the supply
of several unique build components for the wind turbines. The company still
caters to several large wind turbine manufacturers all over the world. Over the
years, the modest company grew its facility and operations to establish itself
as one of the leading manufacturers of critical engineered components.

Founder’s Message
Having come from a modest background, I started Amar Polymers in the year 1978 to provide
engineering services to the export dominated automobile industry. Over the course of time,
we have expanded our mechanical engineering application to various sectors locally and
internationally. Our team comprises of well-experienced, knowledgeable engineers who are
passionate about finding solutions to engineering challenges. We have also established a
network of long term partners to supplement our own capacities. We at Amar Polymers want
to give you the best of our products and services.

Product Development
Engineering
From concept to completion, Amar’s engineering team has been involved
in all types of mechanical engineering products. Over the decades, we
have built a strong reverse engineering capability. Reverse Engineering is
the systematic dismantling of a product to understand its technology with
the purpose of replication. Often in this situation, CAD files are simply not
obtainable, but it is essential to work around the existing geometry to within
fractions of a millimeter. Our product design team will take the existing
piece and duplicate it back into the CAD using advanced measurement

tools focusing on accuracy. We work closely with our clients to ensure that
we meet their critical applications in every step of the way.
Fostering an innovative, yet pragmatic, approach to any engineering
challenge, our experts can achieve both quick wins and long-term results.
