I would like to rejoin the BBCHS robotics team Ironclad 5847 because on my first year

of being on the team we went to the World Championship Competition and both of first
Three years the team has made it into the World champs. Also, I am proud of the fact that
we are now mentoring two new STEM additions to our community. both the FLL and the
FTC team Ironclad 128. By adding these two younger teams to our community, we are
able to encourage the younger kids to explore their interest and have fun being involved
in STEM. I have pride in being on our team that we have each pitched in at different
events to help and support our community in other ways than just Robotics, for example,
volunteering to direct parking traffic at the tractor show, and Camp MOSH. Some Goals
that I have made for Ironclad this year are, 1) us making it to the World Championship
Competition and ranking one of the top 5 team, and, 2) being able to convince Bishop
Mac High School to start an FRC team of their own. A couple of goals that I have made
for myself are getting more involved with our team. By this, I am interested in joining a
second sub-team. I found the coding sub-team to be a very interesting and rewarding
experience. Seeing Athena respond to commands it was fed through the coding, was
amazing. I am interested in adding the experience of joining the electrical team to how I
can learn from and help our team. Within the next five years, I feel Ironclad will be in
the top 3 teams at the World Championships along with having a reputation for
consistently being a part of the Worlds experience. I feel that what I am learning by
being a part of Ironclad will impact my life by preparing myself to attend a top of the line
Tech College and start an awesome career in a field that I enjoy and find interesting.
Being a part of Ironclad has changed me by teaching me how to code in a nontext-based
program and opening new doors to learn and explore new types of technology. Also, I
am naturally a very shy person, this team has helped me feel comfortable with the people
that I am around. We all work together and listen to each other, we support each other. I
feel that I have had the opportunity to meet new people, people like me that I would not
have found without Ironclad. I have found friends in our team and am glad to have this
opportunity to be a part of this group!
