1. Short adjectives(Adjective scurte)

a. Small -smaller than(mai mic decat) - the smallest(cel/cea mai mic/mica)

b. Tall(inalt) - taller than(mai inalt decat) - the tallest(cel/cea mai inalt/a)
c. Short -shorter than -the shorthest(cel/cea mai scurt/a)
d. Cheap(ieftin)- cheaper than -the cheapest(cel/cea mai ieftin/a)

Mind the spelling!(Atentie la modificari ortografice)

e. Thin(subtire) -thinner than -the thinnest

f. Big -bigger than -the biggest
g. Slim - slimmer than -the slimmest
h. Sad(trist) -sadder than -the saddest
i. Happy -happier than -the happiest
j. Lazy(lenes) -lazier than -the laziest
k. Tidy(ordonat) -tidier than -the tidiest
l. Easy -easier than -the easiest

2. Long adjectives

As ……as (la fel de….. ca si)

1. As tall as(la fel de inalt/a ca si):Alex is as tall as Lorenzo.

As big as: The post office was as big as the library
As small as: The church will not be as small as the hotel.

As difficult as: French is not as difficult as English.
