State University and Private University Essay

A University is an institution of higher education and research which awards academic
degress in various academic disciplines. University was divided into two which are State

( University is divided into….)

University and Private University. Actually, the two Universities are the same. It all depends on
the people who live it. However, because too many people argue which is best, it causes

( which is the best )

confusion to those who will choose State or Privat Universities. So, I try to find several contrast
and similarity of State University and the Privat University.

The first difference is the cost that must be paid by student. State universities are less

(in this case will be better if the writer use the tuition than use the word the cost)

expensive than private Universities. That is because state Universities are funded by respective
state goverments and Privat Universities are not. State Universities collect a large position of
their operating funds from federal and state goverments, while private schools rely mostly on
tuition and other funding to keep their operations running smoothly. This is why State University
can cost a lot cheaper. The second difference is study program. The number of study programs at
State Universities is very large compared to Private Universities.

The popularity of State Universities is also very high because they can offer sufficient programs
to statisfy.

(The state universities have a higher popularities than private universities because it is offer some
specific study programs that cannot be found in private universities.)

For example, if we are looking for a particular department at a privat University we often find it
difficult. But, the department is easily found at State Universities. However, even though Private
Universities have limited study programs, there are advantages of paying extensive and exclusive
attention owing to the limited number. The last difference size of the University.

(The last diffence is size of the university)

Because the number of student is accepted Public University has a huge class size and there are
less chances of knowing all fellow students personally or even by name. On the contrary Private
Universities have classes that are a little small and not too many students. So, getting to know
each other is easier.

Despite of all the differences, both of the universities are actually have some similarities.
The first Similarity of State University and Private University is both Universities require the
student to have a bachelor’s degree. Because, basically we take higher education is to get a
degree. The second similarity is the Facilities. The facilities at the State and Private Universities
are the same, from libraries, laboratories, and equipment classrooms such as air conditioners,

(are the same from libraries, laboratories….)

blackboards, projectors and so on. Besides, they both have a variety of student societies. So that
students can adapt their life easily in university.

In conclusion, being a student a State university or Private university is not much

different. It all depends on his own personality. If indeed you have determined from the start,
then do it with all your heart, do not rush to believe in others who will destabilize our decision.
Although studying at a state university is known to be more fortunate and suscessful after
graduation, but there is nothing wrong if you are Private university student, and nowadays there
are also many students graduating from Private universities more suscessful than State
universities. Because, basically what brings success is not the popularity of universities that are
popular, but depends on us, on our efforts and our hard work.
