Middle Exam
The followings are what you commonly find or see in the teaching learning process in the classroom. What
you need to do is to make the communication complete or done (based on the topic or issue discussed) by
giving the appropriate statements to each conversation

Instructions:
Topic 1: Being absent
Teacher : Good morning student. I’ll take attendance before we start the class today. Please raise your

hand and say “here” when I call your name okey?

Student : Okey sir

Teacher : Rara?

Student : Here sir. (Raise her hand)

Teacher : Vina? Where is she?

Student : She is absent today sir.

Teacher : Does anybody here know why Vina isn’t here today?

Student : She has gone to Bandung to attend his sister’s marriage sir.

Teacher : Does anybody absent today except Vina?

Student : Nothing sir.

Teacher : Good! Let’s start the lesson.

Topic 2: Supply and Demand


Teacher : Well, we are going to learn about “Income Tax”. It is still related to the previous
discussion.
Student : Sorry, but I don't yet understand the material.
Teacher : Of course you don’t know. You did not come last week. Who knows what we learnt last
week?
Student : My ma'am, last week's material discussed tax, right? The material was received by the
mother.
Teacher : Good girl! ”Taxes”, that’s what we learned last week. It is still closely related to today’s
issue.

Topic 3: Helping friend


Suppose that you want to borrow 100.000 rupiahs from your friend to buy some foods because you still wait
for the transfer from your Dad. Make your friend understand the situation and then, lend you some money.

Student A : Hello, Nabila. What are you doing?


Student B : Hi Sarah, I'm playing game. What’s wrong?

Student A : I have a little problem. Confirm you helped me?

Student B : Of course I will help you, you are my best friend. ,Try to say what can I do for you?

Student A : I am out of food, while my father has not transferred me money. May I borrow 100,000

rupiah from you? Later after my father transfers me money, I will replace it.

Student B : Try it, don't hesitate, this is the money. Useful, don't hesitate, here's the money.

Student A : Thank you Nabila, you helped me a lot.

Student B : You're welcome, happy to help you.
